Teachers

Pre-K Teacher

Hi! My name is Deanne Yordy and I am the proud teacher of a wonderful class of Extended Pre-K students here at Christ Lutheran. I am a native of San Antonio, and after receiving a teaching degree from the University of the Incarnate Word, began an adventure with preschool students that has lasted over thirty years. I have been married to my amazing husband, Mark, for twenty-nine years and we have a daughter and son, Devon and Derek who are both in college. I absolutely love gardening in my yard and traveling to faraway places!

2's & 3's Teacher

Hello, my name is Danielle Flores and I am a 3’s teacher. This is my third-year teaching at Christ Lutheran Day School and I feel blessed to continue to teach alongside dedicated and wonderful teachers. Christ Lutheran Day School is such a great community. I was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, I went into the United States Army and served three years active duty and five years Army Reserve. I began my teaching career working as an Instructional Assistant for the Fort Knox Schools. I found myself enjoying caring, nurturing and guiding preschoolers. After earning my degree, I moved on to be a substitute teacher and ended my time at Fort Knox as a preschool teacher before moving to Texas. To me the most amazing thing is to see or hear one of your students apply the skills that you have taught them and see the excitement on their faces.
